Famed memory SSD manufacturer Super Talent announced today that they will release a new budget solid state disk drive that is a combination of both value and performance, but with a low price expect a lower capacity too. The $65 SSD will only be a mere 8GB, and obviously its performance won't be any better then its more expensive and spacious competitors.

The 64GB "value" SSD will be priced ~$175and will be capable of sequential read speeds of up to 150 MB/sec and sequential write speed of 100 MB/ sec, while the 8GB 65$ SSD is crippled at 90 MB/sec in read speed and 30 MB/sec in sequential write speeds
