Sprint announced its new 4G phone yesterday named the Epic 4G. The phone will 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, 512Mb of Ram and a 1GB of ROM. The display of the phone is a 4-inch super AMOLED touchscreen display withmulti-touchand features a slide-out QWERTYkeyboard. The phone comes with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and supports 720P videos. WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot support for up to five devices and Bluetooth 2.1 and is based on Android 2.1. The storage capacity of the phone is 16GB which is expandable to 32GB. Another cool feature is that the phone comes with WiMax which can deliver peak download speeds of more than 10Mbps. Thespecificationssound pretty nice while there is no information about release date and the price.
