If you're a Windows Phone user and love Spotify, then this would literally be music to your ears. It's been a long time coming, it has tested the patience of WP users, heck it even got released on the N9 before it made it to Windows Phone, but now the wait is over and you can download the app from the marketplace. The application is free to download but needs a paid subscription if you actually want to stream music.

The app will allow downloading of playlists and music for offline playback in case you don't have an active internet connection, or require to save some data should you be tied to a tight plan. Also, playlists can be pinned to the home screen for easy access, something which can't be offered on other platforms. You can also listen to music in the background when the app is not actively running.
