As big as it is, Samsung doesn't only manufacture only one category of devices. Aside from top, middle and low tier smartphones, the Korean manufacturer also pays serious attention towards it tablets. Its Galaxy Tab Series in particular has seen several bits of information surface over the past month related to a successor, and today we add more to it. The Galaxy Tab S2 has been rumored to be coming with two screen size variations, namely 9.7 and 8 inches, with an Exynos 7420 ticking inside its belly.

After sharing some information about the Galaxy Note 5 earlier, Sammobile's quite active today. The publication has also posted some details which it claims are the prices for Samsung's 8 and 9.7 inch Galaxy Tab S2 variants. The 8 and 9.7 inch Galaxy Tab S2 variants are reported to be expected with price tags of €399 and €499. These, when converted into US Dollars equal $441 for the 8 inch and $551 for the 9.7 inch Galaxy Tab S2.
In addition, the 9.7 inch Galaxy Tab S2 with cellular connectivity is expected to come with a price tag of $651. The duo is expected to come with some impressive specifications on board, aside from Samsung's 14nm Exynos 7420, as mentioned above. The duo is expected to be 5.4 mm thin, making it one of the thinnest devices around. This will be supplemented by 4GB of RAM, screen resolution of 2048 x 1536, a micro SD slot and a storage capacity of 32 GB.
Given Samsung's changing tastes for device design, we'd expect the Korean manufacturer to also do something different with its top tier, large screen tablets this time around as well. Its high time the Galaxy Tab series got an upgrade and Samsung would be well suited to launch devices that offer something more than what is already is present in the market.
