Samsung's Latest Gaming Monitors Feature QD-OLED Technology & A Flat Panel Design With Up To 360Hz Refresh Rates
At CES 2024, we will be seeing a vast array of QD-OLED monitors from various manufacturers. The lineup will include lots of options for everyone to select from in the coming year and Samsung also aims to offer more QD-OLED designs with two brand new monitors which have been teased.
The official Samsung Display outlet has announced that the company is preparing two QD-OLED designs which include a 31.5" model and a 27" model. Starting with the 31.5" model, we are looking at a flat panel design with a UHD resolution (3840x2160) and a pixel density of 140 PPI. This will be a high-end variant that will target the high-end gaming segment. Samsung states that AMD is one of the prime partners in powering these high refresh rates and next-gen displays with its RDNA 3 GPU architecture.
Samsung Display, which uses QD-OLED to drive the growth of the high-end display market, announced on December 13 thatit will start full-scale mass production of 31.5-inch UHD (3840x2160) resolution QD-OLED from this month.
This new product achieves the highest level of pixel density and UHD resolution among self-luminous displays. Thanks to the extraordinary performance of self-luminous displays such as fast response speed, it has already attracted the attention and expectations of consumers before its release.

According to Samsung, both QD-OLED gaming monitors are currently in mass production and will be hitting retail sometime next year following the announcement at CES 2024. Samsung also states that it plans to triple its total display shipments in 2024 versus the last year by expanding its product line.
