The Motorola DROID X got rooted some days ago, but that procedure was kind of lengthy and really a hassle to go through. So now with some help, the Rooting has been made easier by just the click of a button. All the user has to do is to download a file, unzip it and unroot it.
While the new procedure involves just a click, it actually is not that that simple!. You will be required to change toggle Wi-Fi and Bluetooth during the process, and will be required to press "Allow" when the Superuser.apk prompts you to.
The file can be downloaded from AllDroid (which requires you to make an account first). The file is supposed to work on Windows 7 / Vista / XP, but there are reported issues of the file running on Windows XP.
