The Asus ROG Phone 8 has managed to catch my eye, especially after I found out that the phone is going to deliver a brand-new camera system that could easily put this phone right up there with the best. Today, we finally have confirmation about the launch of the device, as well as new renders that show how the phone is going to look.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 is looking like the most refined ROG phone to date

Asus is going to announce the ROG Phone 8 at CES 2024 on January 8. In addition, the Asus Weibo account has confirmed that the phone will launch in China on January 16, which makes sense. The company even shared a small teaser showing the display on the ROG phone. You can have a look at the video below:

The teaser shows that the Asus ROG Phone 8 is going to finally get rid of the notch that the company has been using for years. Instead, the phone sports a more modern hole-punch cutout, which falls in line with all contemporary smartphones, making sure that the latest offering does not look dated.

We also have our hands on the first proper image of the Asus Phone ROG Phone 8, showing a much more smart and much less aggressive design as compared to the predecessors.

Looking at the render, there are a few things that you should notice. Compared to the past ROG phones, this phone does not have any vents, at least no visible ones on the back of the phone. The RGB is now limited to the ROG logo, and the overall design is a lot cleaner, and honestly, I do love it. The Asus ROG Phone 8 is perhaps the best-looking ROG phone.

Based on all the information, the ROG Phone 8 looks like an impressive smartphone that has all the modern looks but still does not forget its foundation as a gaming phone. Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to hear more about the device, and we will keep you posted.
