LG has announced a massively sized 10.1-inch G Pad III that sports features taken from both tablets as well as smartphones in order to provide the user with a satisfactory experience. The larger screen will definitely come in handy when you want to take advantage of more screen real estate.

LG G Pad III Comes in Two RAM Models as Well as an LTE Modem for Effortless Connectivity

The G Pad III features a 1080p display on its 10.1-inch screen, which should provide a decent experience as far as display quality goes. The great thing about the tablet is that not only does it feature an 802.11ac Wi-Fi adapter, but an LTE modem as well if you’re not comfortable using those pesky Wi-Fi hotspots. While the chipset details have not been mentioned, it does state that the G Pad III features an octa-core processor running at a speed of 1.50GHz. There are so many guesses that a person can take until the chipset’s model is the right one.

Our guess is that the Snapdragon 617 is present inside the slate since this SoC features an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.50GHz. The tablet also comes in the 2GB and 3GB models, although it would be fair to say that LG should have upped the RAM, seeing as how even mid-rangers come with 3GB of RAM. Regardless, the G Pad III comes with a decent 6,000mAh battery, but looking at the large 10.1-inch screen, we were actually expecting something larger.

It packs a Bluetooth 4.2 chip and also provides features that transform it into a makeshift notebook. This will range from the kick stand present at the back of the tablet, as well as a monitor mode and reader mode. The large screen size will definitely come in handy when you are moving from places to places and LG states that the tablet is going to set the user back by $360. There is no word if the slate is ever going to be present on market shelves overseas, but the manufacturer has another surprise it wants to share with you guys.

LG states that a tablet with similar specs and a stylus is going to be announced in 2017.
