This year at WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) Steve Jobs announced the new iPhone 4 it will be a new addition to Apple's already popular iPhone, their line of touch screen hand held devices which have been dominating the market very well across the world.

some of the features of the new iPhone will be:

* A very high resolution display of 960 x 480

* 5 Megapixel camera with LED Flash

* New design will make the iPhone the thinnest in the series.

* The latest iPhone OS 4

* Built-in 3-axis gyro

* The iPad’s A4 processor

* 720p HD video recording

* Video conferencing which only works through Wi-Fi at the moment.

* UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)

* GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)

* 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n 2.4GHz only)

* Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR wireless technology

* 7 hours of talk time on 3G

* 14 hours of talk time on 2G

* 300 hours of standby time

* 6 hours of Internet usage on 3G

* 10 hours of Internet usage on Wi-Fi

* Up to 10 hours of video playback

* Up to 40 hours of audio playback

* Frequency response of 20Hz to 20,000Hz

So far apple has announced the 16GB and 32GB versions the 16GB version will be for $199 and the 32GB version will be for $299, amazingly there is no 64GB version (Yet?) maybe we will hear about one in the future.

The iPhone 4 offers superior looks over its previous generations, it will be thinner, have a finer metallic look finish and even better Jobs has said there will be a 100 new features in the OS which include better email, Multitasking and even Apple iAd the new mobile advertisement system.
