iPhone 15 Pro Dummy Shown From Various Angles, Highlighting A Similar Design, Feel And Size When Held In One Hand-April 2024

The iPhone 15 Pro has been rumored to share nearly the same dimensions as its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro, though its numerous internal upgrades should be compelling enough for some to warrant an upgrade. For others, it may be worth ignoring because a new leak shows that the design and feel of the upcoming flagship are pretty much similar to last year’s model.

Apart from a slightly thicker rear camera module, the iPhone 15 Pro is not all that different from the iPhone 14 Pro

Irrespective of the size of your hands, the iPhone 15 Pro dimensions will be viewed as the sweet spot for the majority of buyers thanks to its 6.1-inch display. Add the titanium alloy chassis, which is lighter than the stainless steel used in the iPhone 14 Pro, and you have a refined version of an iPhone that is not absurdly large or inconveniently small. On X, Majin Bu has shared a few images of how the device would look when gripped with a single hand, and immediately we notice some similarities.

The flat edges are maintained, and the Dynamic Island pill looks to be the same size, but the bezels look incredibly thin. Previously, we reported that both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max would feature bezels with a thickness of only 1.55mmthanks to a process that Apple has adopted called LIPO, or ‘low-injection pressure over-molding.’ The rear camera module looks slightly thicker, and the speaker holes at the bottom are not equal in number, which is a pattern that Apple followed with the iPhone 14 Pro too.

What is different is that this year, the iPhone 15 Pro will ship with a USB-C port instead of Lightning, and though the dummy unit in the tipster’s hand does not show up a close-up of that port, numerous reports have consistently stated that Apple will transition to the new port. Assuming you do not want to upgrade to the iPhone 15 Pro this year, you can always opt for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the first iPhone to feature a periscope zoom lens. However, keep in mind that you will have to pay extra for those upgrades.
