iOS 9 is set for release this fall, along with a brand new duo of iPhones from Cupertino. But already, we're seeing that Apple is working on the next big update for its upcoming mobile operating system in the form of iOS 9.1.

iOS 9 is currently in beta and is still a few weeks away from being released to the general public. But if today's revelation is to be believed, then it's pretty clear that Apple is working on the next big update for iOS 9 already. Currently, we have absolutely no clue what the update will bring with itself, and if past releases are anything to go by, then it's highly likely that iOS 9.1 is going to be a major bug fix release to compliment the iOS 9 update.

In our very own activity Web log, iOS 9.1 has made multiple appearances just recently,and interestingly, the update was running on an iPhone.

Apart from the above mentioned tidbit, we also have information on where the visit originated from. And you guessed it, it's from California, the home of Apple's headquarters. So it's safe to assume that the visit is in fact a legit one, and iOS 9.1 is definitely under testing as we speak.

Like we mentioned before, iOS 9 is all set for release this fall along with new hardware in the form of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. The update brings with it tons of great new features, which add up to refine the overall mobile experience thatApple has been delivering for a long while now. With iOS 9, Apple is hoping to pump life back into the iPad as well with great new multitasking features such as Split View and Picture-in-Picture, making the Cupertino tablet a great device for consuming multiple arrays of content on the fly.
