Apple's iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3 for iPhone and iPad users is now available to download along with macOS 10.12.4 Public Beta 3.

iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3 & macOS 10.12.4 Public Beta 3 HaveBeen Released - Update to the Latest Build Today

Apple unleashed the developer-oriented betas of its software yesterday, and today it has released iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3 and macOS 10.12.4 Public Beta 3. For those wondering - Public Beta software is absolutely free to download and try out, with no need for an Apple Developer Program membership at all. It's a simple case of going to beta.apple.com, registering with your Apple ID, and downloading the pre-release software from there.

If you have iOS 10.3 Public Beta already installed on your iPhone or iPad, then you can download the third beta build over the air. Connect your device to a WiFi network, then navigate to Settings > General > Software Update. Once the new build becomes available to download, tap on the Download and Install button. I would highly recommend leaving your device on charge during the entire process just to be on the safe side. Once the new build is done installing, you can start using your iPhone or iPad as you normally would.

For those who are wondering: Public Beta 3 of iOS 10.3 packs in the same changes as its developer-oriented counterpart. It brings to the table bug fixes, performance enhancements, as well as a new App Compatibility feature. The aforementioned addition displays the apps that need to be updated otherwise they won't work with future versions of iOS.

macOS users can update to the latest build directly from the Mac App Store. Simply launch the portal and click on the Updates tab at the top. Once you see the update available for download, click on the Update button next to it. And since you will be required to restart your Mac therefore make sure you save all your work beforehand.

If you are looking to try out iOS 10.3 Public Beta or macOS 10.12.4 Public Beta right away, then head over to beta.apple.com to kick things into high gear. It's absolutely free, and does not require an Apple Developer Program membership as highlighted above. Just make sure you are well aware of the fact that you might eventually run into small hiccups during usage. Besides, such things are to be expected when it comes to using beta software, whether it's iOS, macOS, Android, Windows etc.

iOS 10.3 and macOS 10.12.4 final arebound to make it onto everyone's devices in a few weeks' time. For now, the only two options users have to try out the software is by either becoming a developer or enroll themselves into Apple's Beta Software Program.
