Let's face it, you're counting the days till you get your hands on the latest version of Android on your smartphone. And with Google releasing the source code for Ice Cream Sandwich, that day is not too far off. However if you're a Nexus S owner, that day is now! Yet again the developer community comes to the rescue and thanks to a member kwiboo on XDA, you can now flash Ice Cream Sandwich on your Nexus S (both CDMA and GSM).
The ROM is a mix of binaries from Gingerbread and the new source code for Ice Cream Sandwich. It's 'almost' fit for daily use. The only things currently not working are camcorder, data usage statistics and mass storage mode. For a first release it's a splendid effort and wont be long before we'll have a full working port of ICS on the Nexus S. Read the thread over at XDA for more details.
