HTC's upcoming handset may have made an accidental or maybe it was a fully intentional appearance on HTCsense website, the drop box HERE where you select your phone will let you choose Mecha as an option right below the Desire Z and the Desire HD. And there is even a picture of the phone.

Although the phone bears a VERY striking resemblance to the HTC Hero there is no news on its specs or any further details yet, maybe HTC is warming up for a announcement very soon? Of Course I am expecting it to be an Android OS phone with typical features like 3G, Wi Fi, etc but maybe HTC might throw something new into the mix wouldn't they?
