Windows 11 OS will be available for users next month. If you haven’t tried out the insider build and are waiting for it to be released, you should know that there are tons of new features that you should look forward to. It has a new settings app, snap layout features, chat app, and more. Some features are smaller, like how to improve sound quality for audio devices. In this tutorial, I will show you how to use Enhance audio feature on Windows 11 to improve sound quality.
Enhance Audio Feature Windows 11
This feature is part of the new settings app, and you can enable and disable it when you feel like it. Microsoft hasn’t given an official statement regarding this feature, and we believe that this is an improved version of the Windows 10 audio enhancement settings. The Enhance Audio feature is available for all audio outputs, including speakers, headphones, etc.
Enable/Disable Feature
Step-1: Click on the Windows icon on the taskbar and then click on the Settings cog. You can also use the shortcut keys Win + I to open the Settings app.
Step-2: Make sure you are in the System tab from the left pane.
Step-3: Click on the Sound option in the right pane.
Step-4: Scroll down and under the Advanced section, select the All sound devices option.
Step-5: Select your output device. [I only have one output device available, you might have others available if you have your headphones plugged in or some external speakers. Click on the output device you wish to improve sound quality for.]
Step-6: Turn the toggle switch next to Enhance audio ON.
If you wish to disable this feature later on for some reason, you can follow all of the above steps, and in step-6, turn the toggle switch OFF.
Some Reddit users have claimed that this feature works best for headphones and that you will notice a difference in the sound quality. If you try this out with headphones, let us know in the comments and share your experience.
