How To Use Apple’s iMessage On Any Android Phone
How To Use Apple’s iMessage On Any Android Phone-December 2024
Dec 30, 2024 8:52 AM

The green-bubble-blue-bubble war between iOS and Android stretches back to the launch of iMessage. Apple has never allowed Android users to send an iMessage to iPhone users other than the SMS standard. While the company is working to adopt RCS, it will still not let Android users take advantage of its iMessage platform. However, this has never stopped third-party developers from trying their best to bypass Apple's servers to run iMessage on Android. The new Beeper Mini app lets you use iMessage on any Android phone.

Beeper Mini allows you to use iMessage on any Android phone with some prominent features onboard

Apple recently shut down Beeper Mini's mechanism for using iMessage on Android. However, the developers updated their app, allowing you to resume messaging with the iPhone. The new version of the app now requires you to sign in through your Apple ID. In the previous app version, you did not have to provide your Apple ID; only your phone number was enough for authentication. In the latest update, the phone number is no longer required.

You must first download the Beeper Mini app from the Play Store to use iMessage on any Android phone. For your ease, we have devised a series of instructions that will allow your Android phone to send iMessage to the iPhone.

1. The first thing you must do is download the Beeper Mini app from the Play Store.

2. Once the app is downloaded, sign in with your Google Account by tapping the Continue with Google button.

3. Tap the blue Next button on the bottom of the app's interface.

4. You will now be asked to enter your Apple ID and Password.

5. Now, enter the 6-digit code sent to your Apple device.

This is all that you have to do to use iMessage on your Android phone. The app has a fundamental interface but houses many features similar to iMessage. You can customize your display image as well. While the app is excellent on Android phones, Apple mentions that it had to shut down Beeper Mini to protect user privacy. As a disclaimer, we advise you to proceed at your own risk.

Additionally, note that Apple had shut down the Beeper Mini app as it violates the nature of its ecosystem. Henceforth, the company could also find a way to shut down the latest version. We will update you on the latest, so stick around for more details.
