Google saw fit to release Android 11 on all compatible Pixel phones as well as OnePlus and some other brands. The new firmware brings a boatload of new enhancements to existing features as well as introducing new ones. One of the new features introduced with Android 11 is Chat Bubbles and if you're unfamiliar with how to enable it for every app, here's what you have to do.
Here are a Few Step by Step Instructions to Enable Chat Bubbles in Android 11
You will know how Chat Bubbles work in Android 11 if you have used Facebook's Messenger app. If you're familiar with the Messenger's floating chat bubbles, this is basically the exact same thing but for different apps. It makes it easier for everyone to open a specific conversation and continue talking without extra steps. Currently, you have to open the IM app and then head over to the person you're talking to and then type in your message. Chat Bubbles in Android 11 can be minimized and maximized with a single tap.
If you have installed Android 11 on your Pixel phone, but not familiar with the technique to enable it from Settings, we have compiled a series of instructions that you can follow. Here's what you have to do in order to enable Chat Bubbles in Android 11.
1. The first thing that you have to do is launch the Settings app and head over to Apps & Notifications.
2. Now, head over to Notifications and then tap on Bubbles.
3. All that you have to do now is toggle on Allow apps to show bubbles.
That's all that you have to do to enable chat bubbles in Android 11. You can now simply tap the little chat bubble icon in the specific chat's notification on the bottom right. You will now see that the conversation is now a floating bubble that you can move around and play with other stuff in Android 11 simultaneously. This is one of the features that Google has added to better manage notifications.
We will be covering more Android 11 guides soon, so be sure to stick around for that.
