Here Is How Apple Shot The Scary Fast Event On iPhone 15 Pro Max-January 2024
Jan 4, 2025 2:58 PM

Aside from all the amazing hardware that Apple announced at its Scary Fast event, the one thing that caught our attention and the attention of a lot of people around the internet was that the company claimed that the entire event was shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max and was edited on the Mac. This is something very impressive, and if you sat through the event, you would not have thought that the event was shot on a phone. Now, we have behind-the-scenes footage showing how the event was actually shot, and well, it isn't something as simple as taking the phone out of the box and shooting.

Apple, in fact, used a lot of specialized equipment to shoot its Scary Fast event using an iPhone 15 Pro Max

When Apple claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max was used for shooting the event, I was impressed, to say the least, but then it hit me that there's no way the company did not use any specialized equipment to make that possible, and well, my suspicions were true because based on the footage you are about to see, a lot of work was put behind the Scary Fast event, and simply using an iPhone 15 Pro Max is not the case.

Leaked behind the scenes video of the Apple October Event which was completely shot on the iPhone 15 Pro Max!

The video has since been unlisted from the official channels, but you can see just how much work, expertise, and specialized equipment went into shooting the 30-minute event. It is still mighty impressive of Apple to achieve all of that using an iPhone 15 Pro Max, but for those who are getting ideas of shooting their next feature film using a phone, you are going to need to have some really expensive equipment that is a couple of thousand dollars on top of an already expensive phone.

While we are at it, I'd also like to take a moment and talk about how this video should not discount the impressive videography capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro Max or the work Apple put towards the event. It is still very impressive to see such production quality being achieved from a phone, despite the fact that the equipment combined could have bought you several iPhone 15 Pro Max devices.

Still, the next time a company claims that they shot an event or footage solely on an iPhone or a Galaxy, for that matter, it would be wise to look for behind-the-scenes footage because the reality is often a lot more different than what you might think.
