3D artist Liam Tart, who has previously worked on Alien Isolation, has recreated some of Half Life 2’s environments in Unreal Engine 4, with some very impressive results. Tart's project has resulted in one scene so far featuring Apartment 17 from Half Life 2.

Tart uses new textures and effects but retains the feel and atmosphere of Valve’s original setting. You can view the impressive recreation in the gallery below:
