G.Skill has a record for showing off some incredible products a Computex. Last year they hosted a RAM overclocking competitionthat shattered previous speed records. This year they're showing off a new line of very fast DDR4 RAM.

G.Skill introduces the Trident Z series of DDR4 memory, showing a 16GB kit at a natural 3666MHz and timings of 18 across the board.
G.Skill's Trident Z line carries with it a newly designed heat-spreader that's rather stunning. The clean angular lines and minimal look is also different than their usual aesthetic. Crucially, these aren't overclocked, but naturally are able to run at 3666MHz.
More importantly than how it looks (which is still rather important for enthusiasts) is how it performs. The Trident Z in this case can run at 2800MHz, 3000MHz and of course all the way up to 3666MHz with very tight timings considering the overall speed. Where they've sourced the chips for this particular line is unknown.
The release date and other information isn't quite known yet, but we can hope that these start seeding to retailers soon. I know that I'd love to get my hands on some of the new Trident Z series for testing. We'll bring you any new information regarding these as we get it.
