Gmail on Android Updated to v2.3.5: Brings Exciting New Features-December 2024
Dec 3, 2024 9:03 AM

If you want to access Gmail on the go then Android is the best OS that can accomplish the task fruitfully. Today Gmail was updated on Android to version 2.3.5. The little update brings hysteric features once again relieving the Android users. The top two features that are added include the ability to sync only priority messages and the ability to individually set notifications and ringtones for any of the labels in your inbox. Apart from that other improvements have also been made.

The improvements and there details are listed as followed:

Save bandwidth and battery by only syncing priority mail: You can choose which mail to sync to help save on battery life. Have a bunch of labels? You can choose which ones to keep synced, and which ones you want to update automatically.

Use label notifications to mash up filters, labels, and ringtones: For the labels you're keeping synced, you can set custom notifications. That includes whether to receive notifications, which ringtone you want to use for which label, whether to vibrate when a label gets an e-mail, and if you want it to only notify you on the first new e-mail.

Remember ‘Show Pictures’ for senders: Know how if there's an image embedded in an e-mail, you must tell it to display the image -- on each and every single e-mail? That "feature"has blessedly been changed so that you can tell it to always display images from a particular sender just like in desktop gmail.

Turn off sticky message actions in landscape or all orientations: There's "new options for message options." When you go to the settings area of gmail -- and notice it's been split into "general preferences" along with individual account preferences -- you'll see "Message actions." You can choose to always show them, or show only in portrait, or only in landscape. Nice isn’t it?Better TalkBalk support for accessibilityPerformance improvements

Update your Gmail App now from the Android Market and enjoy splendid features.
