There have been previous renders of the Galaxy S8 which delivered the much-needed information as to how the flagship would look and overall, we’re thoroughly impressed with these results. Now, a new render of the Galaxy S8 present inside a waterproof case has been shown, and whatever information that we could not provide till now will finally become available to you.

Thin Bezels Can Be Seen Inside the Waterproof Case, But a Single Camera Lens Spotted on the Galaxy S8

Galaxy S8 has been rumored to ship with virtually no bezels and from the sides of the device, you can see that the display practically melts to the corners. Naturally, to accommodate the Samsung logo and to make space for the front camera lens, mic and speaker grill, a portion of the smartphone isn’t going to be covered by the display, but as along as the physical home button has been taken out of the equation, it will add to the aesthetic value of the device.

With a complete design overhaul expected, one previous rumor stated that the smartphone was going to be announced in April, but it didn’t state if it was a global launch. With all the good stuff that we’ve been hearing about the S8, it is any wonder that Samsung has been reported to manufacturer 10 million smartphone units for the initial shipment. This will definitely help to recover the revenue lost thanks to the Note 7.

Unfortunately, the screen sizes of these models are still unconfirmed because, on one hand, Samsung is prepping 5.7 and 6.2-inch models, while another report states that a 6-inch model is going to be announced. Rumor also has it that the company is preparing a flat screen version of the flagship. We feel that this is the right approach since the regular version should be cheaper and would allow proper grip for users in comparison to curved-edge screen models.

Keep in mind that while the dual-curved display version will be handy for some users, not many consumers are going to take advantage of such a feature so they might not feel comfortable paying a hefty premium for it either. The money would better be used in purchasing a rapid-fast storage cardsince that will bring them some form of value in the long run.
