The Galaxy Note 8and its 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display has arrived and to show how it stacks up against the previous-generation Note7 and the flagship cousins that were released earlier this year, here is a detailed specifications comparison between the four phones.
Galaxy Note 8 Features a Smaller Battery Than Its Predecessor and the Galaxy S8+ Despite Sporting a Larger Diagonal Display
By decreasing the total bezels surrounding the smartphone and increasing the total screen-to-body ratio, you get more screen real estate with the Galaxy Note 8 and a smaller footprint in comparison to the iPhone 7 Plus. However, the smaller footprint will also mean a smaller 3,300mAh battery when compared to last year’s Note7, which features a 3,500mAh cell.
Regardless, the Note 8 also features efficient components such as the Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 (depending on where you’re living). These are the exact same chips powering the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, but there is one huge difference between the recently announced phone. It features 6GB of RAM, giving users more control on their heavy-duty multitasking abilities.
The bundling of the S-Pen accessory is going to make the deal even sweeter because users can make themselves highly productive using the stylus. Last, but certainly not least you have the 12MP dual-camera sensor present at the rear side of the flagship.
The Note 8’s shooter will be able to capture images with a 2x lossless zoom functionality, meaning that content captured with the rear-mounted optics can be shot without any loss in quality while zoomed in. There are several other hardware additions that are not present in the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and in the Note7 and if you wish to know more information about these differences, we have provided a comparison table just for you.
Let us know your thoughts if you are going to upgrade to the latest flagship or not.
