The software update many users have been waiting for is here. iOS 13.1 packs a ton of bug fixes, adds new features which were removed with the final release of iOS 13 and also comes with iPadOS. The latter is something which is going to appease a lot of users out there.

Download iPadOS / iOS 13.1 Over the Air

But the short version of the whole thing is this: connect to a power outlet, select a WiFi network, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and you are all set.

Clean Install iPadOS / iOS 13.1

This upgrade is, without a doubt, a massive one for iPad users since it finally adds support for the much-awaited iPadOS. The update brings desktop-class features in certain areas of the OS such as Files app where you can plug in a USB drive straight to your iPad and it will simply appear as it would on a PC or a Mac. Even Safari is now a desktop-class browser on iPad. Essentially, you don't have to deal with blown-up versions of mobile websites on iPad if you have iPadOS under your belt.

Needless to say, it looks like the iPad is ready to be your primary computer with iPadOS.
