There came the iPhone 4 back in June 2010. It was met with sheer enthusiasm as always but then began to irritate the users due to what was later found to be the antenna gate issue. The antenna gate saga continued to roar until Apple finally released a software update to deal with the issue. Recently iPhone 4S was released which too didn’t disappoint the public until a week back when users discovered the battery drain issue. Apple has yet again promised to fix the bug through another software and has already released the beta version of iOS 5.0.1 that will address the issue.
iOS 5.0.1 has been seeded to the developers and contains the following improvements and bug fixes:

iPhone 4S consists of a superfast dual core A5 processor and high speed GPU technology and is it the galactic hardware upgrade that is posing the issue or a loop hole in development? Considering recent reports the battery drain is occurring due to a bug in location services which continuously refreshes the time zone and other services, consuming a lot of power.
The Beta version of iOS 5.0.1 will expire on 14th December 2011 so we might see the GM build soon.
