However, this is also the first ever release of a major software update, which means it is packed with issues in the start. If you can't get yourself to use this update for some reason, then you have the option to revert back to iOS 13 or iPadOS 13. Follow the steps below and you will be up and running in no time.

Step 1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC or Mac using a Lightning cable.
Step 2. Make sure your PC or Mac is connected.
Step 3. Launch iTunes or Finder.
Step 4. Select your device from the top left hand corner (iTunes) or from the left side bar (Finder) when it shows up.
Step 5. You'll see a bunch of options in the middle. Locate the button that says 'Restore iPhone/iPad' and click on it while holding down the left Shift key (PC) or the left Option key (Mac).
Step 6. A new window should open at this point. Simply select the iOS 13.7 / iPadOS 13.7 IPSW firmware file you saved to your desktop.
iTunes or Finder will extract the contents of the firmware and then restore it onto your device. This entire process may take a while so exercise a lot of patience. It's also important that you do not touch your phone, tablet or computer. Just go away for a while, grab a coffee and return after a good ten minutes. By that time, your device will be back on iOS 13 / iPadOS 13, ready to be set up as new or restored from a backup you took earlier.
