iOS 13.3 Causing Problems? Downgrade iOS 13.3 to iOS 13.2.3 Right Away
Apple released iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 this week and many users are going to update right away. If you haven't already, I'm sure the automatic update feature has already taken care of things for you overnight. But, if you feel that updating to iOS 13.3 or iPadOS 13.3 was a complete mistake and you should be on iOS 13.2.3 or iPadOS 13.2.3 instead, then don't panic. We will show you how to downgrade iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3 back to iOS 13.2.3 / iPadOS 13.2.3. There is one downside to this though; you will lose your files and settings so take a nice little backup of everything using iTunes, Finder or iCloud right now to keep things nice and secure. You can restore this backup after the downgrade is complete.
Downgrade iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3 to iOS 13.2.3 / iPadOS 13.2.3
Note: The downgrade from iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3 to iOS 13.2.3 / iPadOS 13.2.3 is possible as long as Apple is signing the older firmware. The moment it stops signing it, the downgrade will no longer be possible.
Step 1. Download the iOS 13.2.3 or iPadOS 13.2.3 IPSW file from here and save it to your desktop for easy access later on.
Step 2. Now connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch to your PC or Mac using a Lightning cable.
Step 3. Launch iTunes if you are on Windows, or Finder, if you are using a Mac.
Step 4. Windows users can select the device on the top left hand side of iTunes. While Mac users will see their device listed on the left hand side pane of Finder.
Step 5. If you are a Windows user, hold down the left Shift key on your keyboard and then click on the Restore iPhone button. Mac users need to hold the left Option key and then click on Restore iPhone.
Step 6. Select the iOS 13.2.3 / iPadOS 13.2.3 IPSW file you downloaded in step 1.
Step 7. iTunes / Finder will now start to unzip the contents of the IPSW file and restore it to your device. The entire process may take some time so hang in tight while it all happens.
Step 8. You'll see the Hello screen on your device if the downgrade is successful. From here, you can either set up your device as a brand new one or just restore a backup you took before following this guide.
There are a ton of reasons why one would want to downgrade iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3. Let me give you just one: jailbreak. If that's what you live for, then you need to steer clear of iOS 13.3 or iPadOS 13.3. Recently, Apple stopped signing iOS 13.2.2 as well, putting an end to downgrading to that firmware. If you are already on iOS 13.2.2 then you are absolutely golden.
If you are experiencing poor battery life on the latest software release, then that's reason enough to downgrade iOS 13.3 / iPadOS 13.3 as well. It's almost impossible that we will ever see a software release from anyone that's bug-free from head to toe.
