Apple have started offering more options to developer to sell their apps on the iOS App Store. Followed by an increase in app prices in the EU region, due to exchange rate fluctuations, Apple is now providing developers with a more flexible pricing option for the App Store in Europe. Apple Allowing Developers To Sell Their Apps On iOS App Store For As Low As 49 Cents?

Apple is now allowing developers to set an alternative price for their apps for regions like China. Now, the company has extended the same functionality to 19 new countries in the EU region. These countries include Belgium, Cyprus, Austria, Finland, Estonia, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Latvia, Italy, France, Lithuania, Malta, Luxembourg, Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovenia and Slovakia.

Apart from extending the alternative pricing to other EU regions, Apple is now also offering developers to set another price for their apps which can be lower than the previous pricing model. With that said, previously developers had the option available to set their app's price as low as€1, which accounts for€1.09 due to an increase. Now, developers can sell their apps on the iOS App Store for as low as 49 cents.

However, at this point in time, Apple has not said a word on the scenario or have not announced the addition officially. On the other hand, it is possible that it is just an error on the company's behalf, but nothing can be said at the moment. However, the odds are in favor due to the fact that Google is also allowing developers to sell their apps on the Play Store for as low as $0.99. Henceforth, it makes sense for Apple to add this pricing option.
