ASUS today launched the Eee PC™ T91MT - a successor of the swivel screen Eee PC T91 - the world's first convertible tablet netbook to feature a multi-touch screen that supports Windows 7 Multi-Touch gestures. Eee PC™ T91MT measuring one-inch thick and weighing a mere 0.96kg, reproduces handwriting and allows users to perform tasks with their fingers.
The new Eee PC T91MT features 8.9-inch glossy LED-backlit display supporting multi-touch and offering 1024x600 pixel resolution. It packs the same 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor but with up to 2GB DDR2 memory support. It comes equipped with a 256-level pressure sensor, and a 8.9" multi-touch screen that reproduces handwriting using both finger and stylus input. No big change on the physical storage front, it sports a 32GB Solid State Drive (SSD) and comes with an additional 500GB of online ASUS WebStorage. Other things such as Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, built-in 0.3MP webcam, stereo speakers, mic, and even battery life of five hours remain the same.
Asus Eee PC T91MT is listed for $532 at Amazon.
