The latest rumor suggests that Apple will release their AirPower wireless charger and AirPods wireless charging case in March.
AirPower and AirPods Wireless Charging Case Could See the Light of Day Next Month
Apple brought wireless charging to its smartphone lineup with the release of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. But alongside that, Apple also revealed that it is working on its very own wireless charger for the iPhone, called AirPower. But the story doesn't end there - to hype up the wireless bandwagon even further, Apple showcased the AirPods wireless charging case which is fully compatible with AirPower.
Though Apple did make these announcements, but it failed to give us any release date apart from the fact that they were all coming in 2018. Now, according to The Apple Post, citing their Best Buy tipster, both these accessories will be available to buy next month, in March.
Given the track record of the source, it's best to take this news with a grain of salt. But the report does suggest that Apple and Best Buy will begin sales of the products on the very same day.
Reports suggest that Apple will price the AirPower at $199. The AirPods wireless charging case, on the other hand, will set users back $69 from Apple. Though that might sound steep, especially for the AirPower, but do keep in mind the benefits it brings to the table. Unlike any other wireless charger out there, the AirPower can charger your iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods all at the same time. That's three devices in total on one pad.
There are many details regarding these devices which are not clear and we are certain that they will be in the time to come. Whenever they are, we will update our readers about it, so stay tuned.
