AT&T had an extraordinary run in making sales and new customer along with millions of dollars when it signed an Exclusivity deal with Apple for its iPhone. This run will now come to an end as Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has started working on a CDMA version of iPhone, which is to be launched this year.
This new version along with a new variant of GSM model will enable Apple to tap into the larger CDMA market, run by Verizon and Sprint. The customers not willing to shift to a GSM network now have every reason to cheer for as this year they will see iPhone on their network too (as long as its Sprint or Verizon)
Moreover, there is news about the leaked specs by Gizmodo, which state that the new iPhone will have 940x640 resolution, a front facing camera and Multitasking. Although these specs are rumored at the moment but keeping in view WSJ telling the coming of new iPhone, it might just be true but we will have to wait till June to know.
