Apple Accidentally leaks IconographyOf The 2018 iPhone X Plus In iOS 12 Beta 5

The leak was discovered by 9to5mac's Guilherme Rambo who has a pretty solid track record in terms of leaks. This could most certainly be Apple's first official confirmation that its gigantic iPhone X Plus is coming. The iconography of the iPhone X Plus hidden in iOS 12 beta 5's PassKitUIFFoundation which is responsible for storing the iOS wallet user interface. Nonetheless, we now have a clear indication that a bigger iPhone is on the way.

The iconography discovered for the iPhone X Plus in iOS 12 beta 5 is a little different compared to the current iPhone X icon. The representation shows a taller and wider model. However, the device does carry the same notch that houses all the necessary sensors for Face ID.

In addition to this, the depiction of the bigger iPhone could possibly be altered and refined in the coming days before iOS 12 is released publicly. Nonetheless, we should always be open to the notion that the icons discovered could be errors from Apple's end?

Apple did make a similar error last year in the HomePod's software beta version. The beta contained a boatload of information on the 2017 iPhone models and it turned out to be true. It is to be noted that the final decision rests with Apple.

There will be more to the story, so be sure to stay tuned in for more details. This is all for now, folks. What are your thoughts on the new leak? Do you think the leak is a confirmation from Apple that a bigger 2018 iPhone X Plus is definitely part of the deal? Let us know in the comments.
